Abstract:
Luminar Network revolutionizes the handling of crime reports and neighborhood data by introducing real-time processing and incentivizing contributors. Unlike traditional systems controlled by government agencies and security mapping companies, which often restrict access and lack immediacy, Luminar Network empowers users to participate in data collection and refinement. Leveraging Blockchain and AI technology, it enables and incentivizes anyone to input and process crimes happening locally through Luminar AI models. This decentralized approach fosters an autonomous and trustless network, facilitating the quantification and prediction of safety scores for all neighborhoods.
Introduction:
In today's world, staying safe in our neighborhood is a top priority for everyone. However, reporting crime can sometimes be difficult or even risky. That's where Luminar comes in- a groundbreaking project that not only makes reporting crimes easy but also rewards you for your efforts.
Here's why Luminar is awesome:
Enhancing Public Safety: By facilitating swift and accurate reporting of crimes, the project contributes to the detection and prevention of criminal activities and make our neighborhood safer for everyone.
Fostering Community Collaboration: Through its user-centric approach, Luminar fosters collaboration among members ,law enforcement agencies and local authorities, establishing a network of support.
Making You a Hero: When you report a crime in Luminar, you're not just sitting back- you're making a real difference. And getting paid for it, makes you a Hero!
Using Smart Technology:
But as we embark in this journey, we anticipate some challenges and have devised innovative solutions to overcome them. Traditional crime reporting system often suffers low participation rates due to various factors such as fear of retaliation, lack of anonymity, or simply inconvenience. Additionally, existing platform may lack incentives for individuals to actively engage in reporting.
Problems: people might post fake videos or image, there might be duplicates' of same video or image
Solutions: Back-testing through AI, Testing modification or photoshop, No filter posting policy, Sufficient evidence limit controlled by AI.

AI Model:
All the user will send the evidences, label those evidences and AI is feed with those data. Overtime, AI will train itself to check and detect evidences to verify whether its real or not and in which category of crime it falls upon. Now it will generate accurate info about the submitted crime which makes our output more accurate and trustable.
Operators:
we have multiple operators who develops their own AI model and then they operate on their own. Those who are generating information with more accuracy will earn more reward as their output is to be the most accurate one. Every operator will get an operator score based on which they are rewarded. Operator distributes the earning directly to user who submit evidences to their AI model. Operators can also charge commission fees.
Evidence sourcing- input:
Any user can participate and submit their crime evidences in form of image or video footage. Along with their evidence they will send a labeling description about the crime that is hapenning in the given image or video. Now their given evidence will go through AI model where operators are operating and based on the category of crime, the user is rewarded by the operator.
Crowd sourcing:
Here the reported evidence is given back to users(public) where the other users will give a label to given evidence based on what they see and their better knowledge. Now the AI will be given the data and it will check which category/type of crime matches the majority of selection, further training itself in the given course.
Evidence sourcing- output:
Luminar network in combination of AI model crowd sourcing generates the most accurate crime data reports. These output data can be accessed by any users in our platform and further can be requested for paid premium data. These data contains historical events and further generates future trends with predictive modeling. This is to make users aware of their neighborhood, prepare them for ... and provide them peace of mind.
Blockchain:
The blockchain system powering the Luminar platform operates on a decentralized network, ensuring transparency, data immutability, and ownership rights. Using the blockchain tech all the contribution of users and operators will be rewarded with LUMI token. Here's a detailed explanation of how this system works:
Blockchain Technology: Luminar utilizes blockchain technology to securely store all evidence submitted by users and AI-generated models. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that records transactions across multiple nodes in a transparent and tamper-resistant manner.
Data Transparency and Ownership: Each piece of crime evidence submitted by users and AI models is timestamped and cryptographically secured within blocks on the blockchain. This ensures transparency and allows users to verify the authenticity of the data. Additionally, users retain ownership rights over their submitted evidence, as it cannot be altered or manipulated without their consent.
LUMI Token: The native cryptocurrency of the Luminar platform is called LUMI. It serves as a utility token within the ecosystem, facilitating various transactions and incentivizing user participation. With a total supply of 3,000,000,000 tokens and a decimal precision of 9, LUMI tokens are divisible and can be used for microtransactions.
Incentivization Mechanism: Users and operators who contribute to the Luminar platform are rewarded with LUMI tokens based on their level of participation. Crime reporters, label makers (those who help categorize and label evidence), and operators (who maintain the platform) receive a portion of the token supply as incentives for their contributions. Additionally, staking incentives are provided to users who participate in the platform's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, further incentivizing network participation and security.
Transaction Processing: All transactions involving LUMI tokens, including rewards distribution and payments for services, are executed on the blockchain network. Each transaction is validated and recorded by network nodes, ensuring consensus and preventing double-spending or fraud.
Future Development and Expansion: A portion of the token supply is allocated for market and business development, as well as for attracting future investors and listing on cryptocurrency exchanges. These initiatives aim to foster growth, increase platform adoption, and enhance the overall value of the Luminar ecosystem.
Reward System:
In Luminar Network, reward system is driven by "ReportCrime2Earn" model. A total of 35% LUMI supply is allocated for "ReportCrime2Earn" model to be distributed over 8 years. Additionally, revenue earned from Luminar Network is also injected into the reward system.

All the rewards are distributed on monthly basis with 10% immediate release and 90% on vesting schedule of 365 days.
The operator with the most accurate prediction for a specific evidence receives the highest reward.
This incentivizes operators to constantly improve their models and maintain high accuracy.
Revenue System:
Operators directly distribute a portion of their earned rewards to the users who submitted the evidence.
This creates a symbiotic relationship where accurate AI models benefit users and operators alike.
Additionally, operators can choose to charge a commission fee on top of the user reward, further incentivizing participation.
